Westray Recruitment Group is looking for Warehouse Operatives for our client based in the Jarrow area. The role is located next to excellent metro transport links and will transfer permanent after a 6-week probation period. The company is going through an uptake in business and it is an ideal time to join a long-established business.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?
General Warehouse duties
Wrapping products ready for despatch
Allocating and locating stock
Organising stores and inventory
Ensuring the supply of parts to production areas
WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Physically fit to undertake hand balling duties
WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLE?
This role centres on day shift hours and it is a temp to perm contract
The hours of work are:
8am-4pm Monday and Friday
8am-4:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
There is also compulsory overtime Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4:30pm-6pm paid at an enhanced rate
WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVING
GBP8.91 per hour. Any overtime after 39 hours is paid at time & 1/3
