Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire

Salary: GBP27,000-GBP31,000 per annum + benefits

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Hours: 5am-1:30pm Monday - Friday

We're proud to be working with a real market leader in food production. They have 5000 highly skilled and dedicated employees working across 17 production facilities around the globe who all work together to make our client the global force that it is today. We are now supporting recruitment for their chilled fish facility in Grimsby who supply chilled fish to the UK retail market.

They're looking to recruit a Production Scheduler to join their existing team. If successful, you will be responsible for the daily stock reconciliation summary, and production scheduling, including processing of orders for the Laforey Road Site.

The Role:

As a Production Scheduler some of the responsibilities will include:

Processing of all customer orders for the site.
Creating and publishing daily updated plans and schedules for Process and packing to provide all relevant depts. with a daily snapshot of current stock/demand situation and highlight potential issues
Working with planning and procurement to ensure all components and raw materials are available at site within a timely manner.
Manage raw material shelf life via coordination with procurement and operations.
Liaise with outside cold stores to accept stock and arrange trials of new intakes.
Ordering components within lead-time to ensure full availability for production and Key KPI monitoring, Plan Attainment, OEE, Service Level.
Provide cover for other members of the planning team.
Adherence to all Hilton Seafood Health & Safety procedures

To succeed as a Procurement Scheduler we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:

A good communicator with strong IT skills
Efficient planning, time management and organisation skills
A can-do attitude with an ability to multitask and be flexible in line with business demands
A willingness to develop skills and knowledge

You will have a good eye for detail and an analytical approach. You'll be supportive of introducing 'change' and will be constantly seeking to improve. You will understand the importance of "the team approach" and always be striving to get the job done. Hilton Seafoods are looking for for someone who has previous manufacturing experience with a basic comprehension of Microsoft Excel. This would suit someone that has previous production planning experience or anyone that has previous stock control experience.
