Manufacture, service and repair of compaction and recycling equipment. The company is looking to hire a workshop based mechanical engineer to join the business in this rapidly growing sector to supplement our existing team.
Responsibilities:
* Assembly, repair and maintenance of compaction equipment
* Ensure all paperwork is completely accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers
* Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner
* Report any unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately
* Work to company policies & procedures and ensure you adhere to these (e.g. IT Policy, absence policy)
* Attend training courses to maintain up to date knowledge of equipment
* Make your line manager aware of any site developments or changes in customer needs.
Requirements:
* Applicants will be an experienced mechaincal or service engineer.
* You will have experience in repairing electrical and hydraulic equipment.
* City and guilds training or Apprentice trained.
