Leicester City Council are currently looking for a Locum Best Interest Assessor to join their Safeguarding Team.
The ideal Candidate should have prior knowledge and experience of a working within a Safeguarding Team. The key to being successful in this role is to join with great confidence and you will be hitting the ground running and working alongside a number of teams.

Undertaking Safeguarding reviews and supporting the duty function
Working within both Mental Capacity and best interest assessments
Co-ordinating the assessment process under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
Provide expert advice to ensure an effective and consistent multi-Agency approach to SafeguardingRequirements of you working within the Safeguarding Team:
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
2 years post to qualifying Degree
A valid Social Work England registration
Post qualified award as a BIA
Location: Leicester
Umbrella pay rate: Negotiable
