Exam Invigilators (Grade 14: £10.21 per hour)

Our aspiration is to be great in all that we do.  Are you a great role model and team player?  If so, Preston School is the right school for you!

We are a Business & Enterprise Academy that aspires to embody our strapline of ‘Bringing Learning to Life & Life to Learning’ for every student every day. We place a large emphasis on the development of character and personality of our students, alongside a relentless drive for improving progress in all of the subjects that they study.

We aim to be GREAT in everything that we do. Our student body are wonderful to work with and visitors to the school regularly comment upon the great learning environment within the school, personified by the excellent relationships between students and staff. We firmly believe in the core BASICs that the students are asked to follow, and we recognise that teaching is made easier when students are engaged with their learning - as ours are.

Preston School is looking to appoint Examination Invigilators on a casual basis to cover examination periods throughout the academic year. This will include invigilation for external GCSE examinations in May and June, for which your availability should be considerable. Internal examinations take place in October, January and February.

Our morning exams start at 8.40am so you will need to be on site at 8.00am.

Our afternoon exams start at 1.00pm. Sessions will vary in length and may be up to 3 hours.

Successful candidates will need to work as part of a team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our students and be willing to support students through the provision, supervision and monitoring of examinations, whilst enforcing strict exam conditions at all times.

Successful applicants will report to our Exams Officer and appropriate training for the role will be given.
