Part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year).

Salary: £9,656.03 to £9,826.24 per annum (£20,536 to £20,898 FTE). Progression is on an annual increment scale to £10,383.43 (£22,083 FTE) per annum.

Hours: 9.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday.


The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Marketing Events Coordinator to work in the College’s Marketing Department. The successful applicant will be required to oversee the Applicants’ Events programme and provide marketing support to other College events and the Marketing team as required.

The post is available immediately on a permanent, part-time basis. The post holder will be required to work term-time only from 9.00am to 2.30pm (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), from Monday to Thursday. Some flexibility in the hours may be possible. The post holder will be required to work one evening per week when the events are taking place. The events are usually held on Wednesday evenings, between 5.00pm and 7.30pm.

The post requires commitment and excellent organisational and administrative skills, along with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Future First Portal. You will need to have excellent proof-reading skills and the confidence to tackle unfamiliar situations. A strong experience of working in a Marketing role including experience of event management, communications, brand management and PR is desirable, along with the ability to work with a range of client groups.

The post carries an expectation for some very occasional mandatory evening activities (Open Evenings). However, there are numerous optional opportunities for evening work (Interview Evenings for Students) should the post holder be interested in them for additional remuneration.
