The Company
Our client is a successful buying society based in Leicester - they are looking for an Account Manager to work within their dedicated team.
The Role
Support the development of the supplier portfolio, through regular engagement, support, and helping drive new initiatives and growth
Achieve category goals and key performance indicators
Identify opportunities from growth within a category
Coordinate prospect supplier process from initial application, credit checks, meetings through to launch
To work with all teams to ensure supplier call reports are completed and up to date
Analysis work on turnover reports, top ten suppliers, category reports etc-
Ensuring company documentation is up to date such as Trading process manuals & onboarding process
Support the planning and organisation of Committee meetings and supplier meetings
Work independently and as part of a team on key departmental projects & initiatives
Preparations of regular scheduled reports, data analysis and determine actions required
Be pivotal in interdepartmental communications
Support the Trading manager as required
Any other duties deemed appropriate in conjunction with this role
Candidate
Education to graduate level/ similar qualification
Worked in similar role supporting the development and growth of suppliers & categories
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Capable of working under pressure
