Paralegal - Medical Negligence - Cambridge

Our client, a well regarded national law firm, is seeking and enthusiastic team player to join their busy Medical Negligence team based in Cambridge.
You may have a law degree, background in law or you may be looking to build a career as a Paralegal by bringing experience from a background in another professional services environment. An interest in Medical Negligence would be preferred.
This role will give you great exposure to a varied and full caseload of ranging claims, with values up to multi-million pounds, with two experienced solicitors from the team.
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Speaking to new / potential clients and taking details of their claim
* Taking instructions from clients and assisting with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, assist with litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients
* Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working
* Supporting case handlers generally in the running of the cases
* Attending and contributing to team/practice area meetings and complying with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives achieved
The ideal candidate will be well organised, have good communication skills and evaluate tasks before seeing them through.
