We are looking to recruit a Social Value Business Partner to be based at our Basildon office.
About the Role
Within this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a network of external stakeholders and community partners, to include training providers, residents and public sector contacts. Whilst supporting the data collating process and recording information for regular reporting, you will also ensure the delivery of social value commitments, as specified. You will be responsible for internal and external communications via channels such as newsletters and social media.
Recruiting and training apprentices will form part of this role and you will be the nominated lead contact for coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings and site visits. In addition, the right candidate will bring communities together, develop targeted community programmes to support important issues ranging from poverty to low educational entertainment and create and manage an inspiring offer of environmental initiatives for residents to engage with.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is keen to grow together with us and put our customers first. Experience of mentoring young people is desirable as well as working knowledge of apprenticeships and safeguarding.
It is essential that the right candidate has good experience in CSR/community regeneration, a good track record of creating engaging environmental programmes and experience of giving employability support to customers. Previous experience of delivering digital inclusion training in the community is required. A full DBS check will be required for this role.
