Work Experience Adviser

Salary: £19,072 - £20,514 per annum (Scale 4)

Location: Taunton Campus, TA1 5AX

To co-ordinate work experience activity across Taunton and Bridgwater sites.

The successful candidate will be student focussed, and will have the student’s interest at the heart of what they do, ensuring all learners attain valuable work experience, which enhances their achievement and progression and supports their career aspirations.

You will be able to establish and develop strong relationships with employers and have clear commitment to ensuring these relationships remain long standing and will consequently be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will equally be confident with working with 16-18 year olds, helping them to locate a suitable placement.

As a Work Experience Advisor you will be organised and have the ability to prioritise, ensuring that all students are placed in an environment appropriate to their career aims, and during their scheduled work experience dates and ensuring that all administration including health and safety checks are complete.

Candidates should tailor their personal statement to demonstrate how they meet the requirements of the job specification, ensuring all points are addressed.
