Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

We now have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to assist the Supported and Retirement Team by providing excellent administrative support and assist the team in their goal of delivering efficient and effective supported and retirement housing.

 

Some of your duties will include:

  • Ensuring good customer service is provided to telephone and personal callers including providing reception cover.
  • Updating and preparing documents for all aspects of housing management and ensuring they are accurately filed.
  • Maintaining the current filing system and archiving of ex-residents’ files whilst moving towards a paperless system of filing all documents digitally on the internal system.
  • Collect, collate and input data as required into various formats or reports for both internal and external monitoring
  • Update and co-ordinate information for databases such as CORE, Clearview, AllPay and SDM and Direct Debits.
  • Responsible for the coordination and monitoring of BCP plans and enactments for all departments within Christian Action.
  • Supporting the team with various administrative tasks, including mail merges, training, on call rotas, updating spreadsheets/databases.

     

Our ideal candidate

  • Experience of working in a similar administrative role, experience of working in a retirement setting or equivalent is essential.
  • Ability to deal with customer’s complaints and resolve problems.
  • Evidence of providing a customer focused service that takes account of the needs of customer, organisation and external agencies.
  • A good knowledge of ICT applications (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.) and IT confident
  • Full Valid Driving Licence and use of car for work.
