Job Title: Hospital Cleaner

Duration: This is a temporary role, expected to be ongoing with no end date specified
Location: Salisbury
Working Days/Hours:
* Saturday and Sunday , 9am and 7pm or 10.30am to 6.30pm
* GBP9.99 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Mon-Fri)
* GBP11 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Saturday/Evenings)
* GBP13.60 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Sunday/Bank Holidays)
Key Responsibilities
* Deep cleaning wards and other areas of the hospital
* General cleaning and tidying up of rooms
* To ensure the environment is cleaned in line with national cleaning standards.
* Deliver meal/beverage service
* Cleaning medical/hard equipment
* Manage linen quality
* Report maintenance issues
* Maintaining stock levels of cleaning products
* Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and employees
* Replenishment of toiletries and cleaning products as and when required
* Carry out cleaning to control infection in specialist Mental Health hospital wards
* Help to serve food in the kitchen as and when required twice daily
Experiences, Skills and Qualifications
* Cleaning/Housekeeping/Waitressing or Kitchen Assistant experience
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Knowledge of COSHH and infection control (desirable, however, not required)
* Punctual and reliable
* Hold a Food & Hygiene certification or be willing to undertake Food & Hygiene training (to be set up and organised via Your World Recruitment as part of your application)
* Willingness to clean within a Mental Health Hospital and help serve food twice daily on a temporary ongoing basis
* Happy to work within a healthcare environment which offers a range of Mental Health Services
To successfully commence employment, you will be required to:
* Register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant (prior to commencing employment)
* Hold a clean valid-in date enhanced DBS dated in the last 12 months or a valid in-date DBS registered with the update service (if held by a third party) to commence employment successfully. If you do not yet hold an enhanced clean DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or a DBS registered with the update service (with photographic evidence of this) - you will be required to apply for a new DBS as part of your application. This can be applied for via Your World Healthcare.
* Provide professional employment/educational references covering the last 3 years.
Please note: A valid in date DBS must be held to commence employment.
