Salary: Up to £19,110 per annum
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Harbour has delivered needs-led services for over 45 years, providing refuge and support for those experiencing domestic abuse. We are recruiting for male or female Support Workers who will work therapeutically with children and young people affected by domestic abuse within our teams in Tees Valley and County Durham/ Darlington. Part time and full-time posts are available. These staff will work directly with children/young people delivering one to one and group work interventions.
We welcome applications from enthusiastic, individuals with the ability to engage effectively with children and young people, a creative approach to problem solving and an ability to work with initiative. Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in early years/youth work at level 3 or above and have a minimum of 12 months practical experience working with vulnerable children/young people. Experience of therapeutic support work will be beneficial. Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
