Charity Fundraising Manager
We are recruiting an experienced Charity Fundraising who will champion the work of an outstanding community CIC based in Telford.
Responsibilities include:
approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding
organising and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, house-to-house and street collections
recruiting volunteers and coordinating their work
planning donation campaigns and events.
controlling budgets and working to targets
writing reports and press releases.Importantly, you will be experienced in coming up with new ways to acquire funding through corporate engagement, events, online advertising and legacy-giving campaigns.
To be successful you will have a proven trackrecord in fundraising - qualifications in management, marketing, communications may be helpful but are not essential.
You will need to be confident and organised as well as flexible in your dealings with team members, business associates and the public.
Other essential skills and qualities include:
sales and negotiation abilities
creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising
a proactive attitude, drive and enthusiasm to carry out projects to conclusion
the ability to influence others using excellent communication skills
the capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
the ability to meet financial targets
IT and social media skills
strong organisational, administrative and project management skills
resourcefulness
the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
initiative and the ability to solve problemsSalary is competitive, depending on experience
