Introduction

To work within a very busy Global Factored Products Purchasing department, this role is to manage the supply of Factored products to meet customer expectations. Work with the suppliers to meet or exceed the requirements of the business by developing supplier relationships and management. Drive quality and delivery improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the buy-resell products, through continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, monitor and expedite resale products purchase orders to meet our commitments to the customer.

Ensure ERP system is updated with accurate information.

Create inbound Delivery documents within SAP.

Monitor overdue deliveries and communicate with suppliers/internal/external customers. Support internal sales personnel and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Work alongside quality to ensure suppliers give timely and acceptable responses to issues or concerns. Organise the return to Vendor.

Ensure master data for Factored materials is accurate and update lead times as required.

Monitor inventory levels for Factored products in line with the targets set.

Investigate and resolve queries relating to Invoices, stock and price.

Prepare reports and discuss issues for the weekly team meeting.

The ideal candidate will be working with the business to further define how we support this method of manufacturing so there will be a level of flexibility around tasks and duties.

Core Requirements

Maths and English to GCSE to level

CIPS or CILT to level 3 or equivalent

Desirable Skills and Experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in negotiation.

Experience in a fast-paced procurement and customer service environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working in multicultural environment.

Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office.

SAP R3 experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
