Technical Support Engineer required near Ashford, Kent.
Salary - Excellent negotiable.

With the further development of the business they are now looking for a Technical Services / Support Engineer to join their small team in Bethersden, Kent, where they make world leading roulette wheels and table displays that are sold to casinos the world over. The successful candidate will be assisting their customers both remotely and on site all over the world with remote support, installation, and training.
You will also be working closely with the Sales and Research and Development teams to ensure that new products are seamlessly launched to customer sites and where possible open further sales opportunities.
Reponsibilities:
Provide technical support to all customer across the entire Cammegh product range via phone, email, remote connection, and on-site activities worldwide
Ability to Travel in the UK, Europe, and worldwide representing the company
Manage, prioritise, and complete all customer support requests to ensure all issues are resolved in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Create / Update support records for customer products and ensure they are accurately maintained
Produce quotations for support and sales order requests and complete order processing through to shipping and customer acknowledgement
Assist with the production of technical support documentation and training materials for internal / customer use.
Take a proactive approach to help Improve department processes
On an occasional basis these following tasks may be required: Electrical soldering; Joinery, transporting order; Loading and unloading; Carrying of heavy objects
Experience Required:
Excellent working knowledge of windows products both server and desktop
Good working knowledge of Linux platforms especially in server scenarios
Knowledge of Databases, SQL / MYSQL
Excellent knowledge of a corporate network environment including routers, switches, firewalls, caballing and configuration in Windows and Linux
Good computer hardware knowledge installation and troubleshooting with an understanding of network architectures
Previous IT and/or technical background
Handy with common tools
Experience speaking other languages would be advantageous
