Our Client are redesigning their warehouse to allow them to increase their output and facilitate business growth over the coming years, you would be joining at an exciting stage within this transformation and would be heavily involved in the project.
You will report directly to the warehouse manager and will, along with another supervisor, manage a warehouse team of 6 - 8 people.
You will be responsible for the general running of a busy warehouse, being visibly present on the warehouse floor and monitoring all work to ensure all deadlines are met. You will have exceptional customer service delivery skills both internal and external and instill this into your team and lead by example.
As it is a small team, you will need to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, hands on and be able to resolve any problems regarding transportation, logistics or customer issues.

Once you have completed their induction training, you will be required to run a shift within the warehouse which involves -
* Accurate receiving and efficient handling / put away of all inbound deliveries
* Accurate picking and packing of customer orders
* Loading & unloading inbound/outbound containers
* Accurate dispatch and efficient handling of all outbound deliveries
* Analyzing and optimizing all warehouse processes
* Maintaining high standards within the warehouse and its grounds
* Upskilling and developing team members
* Inventory control & management
* Maintaining equipment & machinery
* Controlling and transferring of off-site inventory to meet daily business needs
* Promoting Health & Safety
