A Graduate/Junior Software QA | Test Engineer is required by a successful Software House based in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within a technical team developing highly critical systems using highly secure robust technologies.
Role: Graduate/Junior Software QA | Test Engineer
Location: Warwickshire - blended approach to home/office working
Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 plus benefits package
As a Graduate/Junior Software QA | Test Engineer your time will be split between product testing and support testing on their in-house products. This is a hands-on role in an agile and technical environment that is empowering but demands self-motivation and initiative.
Graduate/Junior Software QA | Test Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintaining, writing, and executing behaviour-driven manual test suites.
* Maintaining and executing automated test suites.
* Reporting, organising, and processing issues.
* Investigate product quality and suggest improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
* Share responsibility for driving ongoing improvements in product quality through testing practices.
Tools you will be using:
* TestComplete, JavaScript, Selenium, C#, CucumberStudio
* Git, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, TeamCity
* Virtual Machines
(You dont need to have prior experience with any of these as they will provide on-the-job training.)
Skills required:
* You will ideally have a technical or scientific qualification.
* You will be familiar with using Microsoft Windows and be technically adept enough to pick up new technologies (such as version control and issue tracking) with ease.
