Workshop Assistant / Model Maker

We're seeking an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant / Model Maker to join one of the UK's most dynamic design businesses.

You will assist with all aspects of the in-house product development process, by assisting in the creation of prototypes and undertaking various forms of in-house product testing.

You will assist in the creation of prototypes from supplied drawings, paint/finish models and samples as well as operating and maintaining the various workshop, 3D printing and testing machinery.

You will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of workshop tools such as band saws, pillar drills, disc sanders and buffing wheels and have a creative flair for making models and working samples - a knowledge of 3D printing would also be advantageous.
