Warehouse Operative

We have a new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join a small team in an established and successful family business. The role is based in Long Hanborough, near Witney, full time hours and permanent. Hours are Monday - Friday 7.30 am - 5.00pm and alternative Saturdays 8.00 - 12.00 pm the starting salary is GBP24500 including bonus.

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:

• Unloading goods delivered
• Working as party of the warehouse team covering all aspects of the work from goods in, goods out and administration
• Checking loads against delivery notes
• Ensuring all returns have correct paperwork and location
• Returned items all paperwork passed to the administrator
• Carrying out weekly returns audit with the administrator and chasing any outstanding items
• Picking loads
• Producing customer paperwork
• Keeping warehouse tidy at all times and following H&S guidelines and policies

Key Skills for the Warehouse Operative:

• Proactive approach, keen to learn
• Forklift experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given
• Adaptable in a changing environment
• Confident self-starter able to work alone or as part of a team
• Organised able to prioritise, particularly own learning
• Maths and English GCSE equivalent A to E
• Good level of IT skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Full driving licence essential
