IT Support Technician
WARD, a growing Family owned company, are looking for 1st/2nd line IT support technician to provide IT assistance and support to WARD's 150+ IT users. Reporting to the IT manager and working as part of a team, the appointed candidate will receive and log support calls, provide remote and on-site support for IT users, set up new equipment and maintain IT records.
The ideal candidate must have:
* A good general IT knowledge.
* Experience with setting up network devices, such as printers.
* A willingness and eagerness to learn.
* A good knowledge of MS products such as Windows operating systems and Office applications.
* A pleasant and calm telephone manner.
* Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of staff.
* Driving license and own vehicle.
WARD use a very wide ranging collection of technologies and hardware so the role tends to be very varied. Although the candidate will be based at our Ilkeston offices, they will be required to visit other sites on occasion.
