My client are a leading manufacturer within an engineering enviroment in the West Midlands region. A company who has experienced susatined growth over the past 10 years, even during the pandemic. Due to continued recruitment drives and the growth of the company a position for a HR Advisor has arisen. This company is willing to put the succesful HR Advisor through their CIPD qualification.
The HR Advisor responsibilities will be:
* Support in Recruitment and managing employee lifecycle
* Maintaining records of employees on their System
* Liaising with training providers, employees and ensuring up to date certification
* Taking ownership of safety briefings, fire role calls, accident administration
* Updating Skills Matrix at regular intervals
* Supporting all HR related enquiries or requests and providing prompt, accurate and thorough response to inquiries and questions, escalating to HR Manager as required
* Working with the HR team to provide cover for all HR issues
* Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct
* An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and flexible in approach
HR Advisor Requirements:
Essential skills for the HD Advisor:
* Good IT skills- including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Good attention to detail & strong organisation skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
Desirable skills for the HR Advisor:
* Previous experience within HR administration
* CIPD and/or degree-level education an advantage
* Experience using HRIS
* Experience of analysing, evaluating and improving HR processes
