Mechanical Fitter - Manufacturing - Portsmouth - LM1078
Salary / benefits: competitive + overtime

Job Outline:
Due to continued growth, my client who is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist machinery and equipment, now seeks several mechanical fitters to join their growing team.
Based at my client's manufacturing facility near Portsmouth, you will be responsible for the assembly of specialist metal cabinets/enclosures for both standard and specialist products.
Working within the manufacturing group you will assemble product to spec, and as such it is expected that you can read and follow engineering drawings.
Along with this you should also be able to show a high level of skill with hand/power tools (electric/pneumatic) and be familiar with general fitment of fasteners etc
As the successful candidate you should have a background as a mechanical fitter and be able work alone or as part of a team.
It is expected that you will have excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Experience:
To be successful you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
