Working across the South West peninsula, whether large or small projects, new build or renovation, maintenance, or alteration, always to the same high standards.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who will be a key role in ensuring that the finance and payroll function operates effectively and efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Weekly and monthly payroll
* CIS returns and statements
* VAT preparation and filing
* Statutory reporting and payments
* Bank reconciliations
* Intercompany accounts
The successful candidate will be:
* AAT Qualified or have recent relevant experience
* A good communicator
* Knowledge of finance processes and principles is essential
* Knowledge of VAT and experience of carrying out VAT returns
* Ability to carry out finance processes to a high standard with attention to detail relating to cost control
* Construction related finance experience/knowledge is preferred but not essential
* Flexible approach and ability to work to deadlines
* Good Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
