SLD Learning Support Assistant

Are you a qualified SEND Learning Support Assistant based in Kingswinford? Are you happy to travel 20 minutes in the car? Are you comfortable supporting with personal care? I am currently recruiting exceptionally talented SEND Learning Support Assistants to work alongside primary and secondary aged students with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. This position is a full time, long term role for the correct Learning Support Assistants. This school caters for students aged between 3-14, with a sister site in Pensnett catering for students aged 14-19. Due to the nature of this school and the students, some of them may need personal care and manual handling. This can range from hoisting, motivating them to eat/ drink to giving the students a full change and wash. Having worked with this school for over 2 years, I have built a trusting rapport with the Business Manager and I know that they are very passionate, caring and dedicated to their staff and students. You'll bring at least 2 years' experience as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, Children's Residential Worker or Youth Worker. Your experience, qualifications and nurturing manner will help each child, Teacher and school reach their plans of becoming the best.
