SOS is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager for our client to initiate and deliver a successful procurement strategy and supply chain management plan for a project in Westminster.
This role is a fixed term 12-month contract with the possibility to extend up to 4 years.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all stages of procurement.
* Develop and maintain the required supply chain partnerships to deliver contracts awarded under the framework.
* Manage the PQQ process for all new suppliers required under the framework.
* Lead on the preparation of subcontract enquiries and manage the process from enquiry to contract execution following the procurement strategy & plan.
* Carry out tender response evaluations and manage the post-tender TQ process
* Produce considered & accurate recommendations to procure for both internal and client approval
* Take a leading role with the preparation of tenders for call-off contracts under the framework with the support from the wider framework team and supply chain partners
* Ensure supplier awareness of, and compliance with, framework conditions
* Prepares & issues report to the Employer on key KPI's stipulated under the framework.
* Implement new processes within the framework delivery team to ensure full compliance with the framework requirements
* Ensure the bid process on all bids is managed following the In-house systems.
* Ensure all procurement is carried out in a manner that is beyond reproach and complies with company policies.
* Administer non-disclosure agreements with supply chain partners
* Carry out supply chain audits to ensure compliance with Framework conditions
Applicant requirements:
* Degree qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field
* No unspent convictions
* Minimum 5 years working as supply chain manager
* Has worked for MEPFS Contractors/Subcontracts and has sufficient technical knowledge
* Experience in letting Subcontracts under NEC 3 & NEC 4 Options A & C
* Track record of working in public sector procurement
