Business Systems Support Analyst - Norwich - up to GBP30,000
My client is an international wine producer, importer and innovator based in Norfolk. The business is growing rapidly in the UK and US Markets
My client is looking for a Business Systems Development & Support Analyst to develop, maintain and support the business.
Reporting to the IT Manager, this position is full time (40 hours a week).
Main Purpose:
Manage the end-to-end fulfilment and resolutions of IT technical faults and service requests.
Monitor Business Systems & Application Health.
Primary key output/deliverables:
Manage the end-to-end fulfilment and resolutions of IT technical faults and service requests.
Monitor Business Systems & Application Health.
Support a standard Microsoft AD environment with Office 365 apps and MS SQL Server.
Set up user accounts and configure various Business Systems: Sage ERP, time and attendance, EDI, document management etc.
Purchase and install hardware (PCs / Laptops/ Tablets / Desk / Mobile Phones, Barcode Scanners/ Wifi units / Network Switched & Cabling).
Investigate, evaluate, purchase, and install software packages and solutions
Develop and maintain Support procedure documentation.
Escalate calls to third-party IT support provider and work closely with them to provide an effective support service.
Be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the IT department.
Nice to have: SQL report writing / advanced excel
Key Skills/Competencies required:
Education and experience:-
IT degree / qualification or equivalent experience
4/5 years' industry-based experience in a support role
Supporting a variety of business systems / ERP would be beneficial
Ability to manage own workload.
Must be able to effectively communicate with users of variable IT ability
