Junior to Mid-level Software Developer - JavaScript / React, GBP35k to GBP55k, Fully Remote
Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a fast-growing SaaS company based in Basingstoke. You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK.
They have ambitious growth plans to hire 10 new Developers, starting with 2 JavaScript / front end focused Devs with experience of React.
A degree in computer science or a background with other tech like C#, Java, Python etc. could be really useful as there will be an expectation that you have a bit of knowledge of software engineering as a whole, rather than just UI Development.

The role;
* Develop and maintain data rich dashboards that provide crucial operational information and creative visualisations to customers
* Write well-written, maintainable code
* Front end unit testing and end to end testing
* Look at new features, bug fixes and innovative ways of doing things
* Support agile development process, get involved with stand ups, code reviews, planning and retrospectives
Tech stack includes;
TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, Python, SQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Jest, Kubernetes, GCP, WebAssembly although these roles will be React and front end heavy.
Ideal person spec;
* Experience of developing and deploying front end web applications
* Ability to deliver an application from a base spec
* Eye for design and expert knowledge of the React ecosystem
* Great JavaScript experience, even better great TypeScript experience
* Working knowledge of Linux, Git and the command line
* Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
* Can design and communicate complex software architectures
* Experience or interest in Python would be a bonus
