IT Support and Infrastructure Engineer

The successful candidate will be working closely with our IT Systems Administrator primarily on IT implementations and projects for our clients.  Roles will include scoping requirements for new projects, researching new products and services, implementing new solutions as well as spending some time assisting on our support team, as and when required.  We fully support personal development and job progression and we do offer funding for qualifications (training for such qualifications would be outside of normal working hours)This is a home based role but you may be required travel to client sites who are based mainly in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.

To be successful in this role you must have an outstanding knowledge of IT and business systems in particular Active Directory, MS 365, Cyber Security and experience of MS Azure administration would be a advantageous but not essential.  You will have a solid, technical background whilst also being highly organised. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems.  The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business IT Support environment
  • Experience of administering and maintaining virtualization technologies
  • Microsoft Windows Server - installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • CompTIA Security + or similar qualification / experience
