In this role each day is rewarding, you’ll be meeting with service users and providing them tailored support to help them live independently and with dignity. This could be helping them set their day up, help with personal care, administer medication or simply check they are ok and spend some time with them.

 

If you feel you can deliver excellent Care and Support Services which are both individualised and customer-led, promoting wellbeing and support for older vulnerable adults then this could be your opportunity to begin a new career with our client.

 

When you join their friendly and diverse team you will add value by helping to maximise independence of people requiring support, enabling real choices in how they lead their life. You’ll need to be comfortable in maintaining accurate records of support provided, maintaining risk assessment and their support plans to be able to respond to emergencies should they arise.

 

Working out in the community their ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in the housing support sector and will appreciate the importance of providing engagement for adults with a diverse range of support needs. They are looking for a Housing Support Worker who will go that extra mile whilst working as part of a team.

 

They welcome individuals with existing experience of providing support to individuals but also welcome applications from applicants with an interest in beginning a rewarding career in care. They will provide full training and development to help you to be successful in your role. This role is offered on a permanent 40 hr per week basis.
