My client is looking to recruit a Project Co-Ordinator to join their engineering company based in Wiltshire. The company manufacture precision parts, primarily serving the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries supplying a worldwide customer base.
The company has three sites within the South West of England, one in Bath and two in Devizes and this position will be located within the Automotive division based in Devizes.
Within the role of Project Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for directing and managing projects under the direction of the Operations Manager, these will include:
Machinery purchases/installations
Building construction with factory and modifications
Factory layout changes
New process introductions to the factory
Service upgrades to existing machineryThis is a varied role and will involve running multiple projects at the same time, and will involve liaising with various departments within the business including Facilities, Process Engineering, Purchasing etc to ensure that project deadlines are met.
The successful candidate will have an engineering background, and be educated to NVQ 3/HNC level or have recognised training in project management. You will also need to proficient in using draughting software, ideally Draftsight or similar AutoCAD etc.
