Kent - SHopfloor Assembly Technician - Salary GBP20-24k - Production
My client are leaders in Technology and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for a permanent Shopfloor Assembly Technician.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
* Previous experience within an engineering environment
* Good mechanical skills and experience using associated tools
* Experience with brazing /soldering
* Fabrications/assembly of steel framework all the way through to final stage of build
* Install electrical chassis and connecting of wiring looms, experience here will be of benefit but not essential
* Installation of pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances
* Must have the ability to operate in a directed team effort and follow specific instructions
* Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly training provided
Tools and Equipment Used:
* Hand tools, Air tools, Braising, M.IG, T.I.G, Welding, Pallet trolleys, Pillar drills and Bench grinders.
ALL TRAINING PROVIDED WHERE NECESSARY (some knowledge an advantage) FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.
The salary for the position is GBP20-24k depending on experience
