Bennett and Game are currently working with a Global Freight & Logistics company within the Kent area actively seeking skilled Warehouse Operatives to join their successful team on a full time permanent basis.
Our client offer expert solutions in Multi-modal freight operations, Event Logistics, Ecommerce Warehouse, UK & European Delivery, Retail Supply Chain and Warehousing & Fulfilment.
Our client are currently in the process of securing a brand new warehouse facility and looking to grow the business over the next 12 month period. Due to this they are looking for the right staff to join and progress with the company - this is an excellent and exciting time to be joining the business.
Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Position Overview
Within this role you will assist the Warehouse team managing daily operations for the complete goods in goods out process.
You will have good knowledge of an E-commerce warehouse environment and be familiar with using WMS systems to scan, track and package items coming in and out of the warehouse.
You will also be responsible for stock management, picking & packing, warehouse cleanliness and forklift driving. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work with the team to ensure the warehouse is running at maximum capacity at all times.
Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Position Requirements
- Proven experience working in a similar warehouse role
- Bendi OR Counterbalance forklift licence
- Excellent eye for detail
- Experience working towards pick & pack targets/KPI's
- Experience in an E-commerce warehouse environment
- Experience of WMS systems - Highly Desirable
- Excellent Customer service skills
Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Position Remuneration
- Salary DOE - GBP20 - 25k
- Monday - Friday Position
- 7:30 - 16:00 Working Hours
- 22 days + bank holidays
