SpaMedica are looking for a talented *Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator* to join our new hospital based in *Newcastle Under Lyme*.
SpaMedica is one of the UK's leading independent providers of ophthalmic services and largest provider of NHS cataract surgery across the UK treating NHS and private patients and in 2018 we became the largest provider of NHS cataract surgery with 24.000+ surgeries per annum with a rating of 5 stars on NHS choices.
*Our package includes: *
* GBP17,771 - GBP20,400 per annum salary

*The Role: *
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
* To ensure that all visitors and telephone callers to the practice are greeted professionally
* Effective team worker
* Registering new patients
* Scanning of documents onto medical system
* Sending letters to patients as necessary
* Photocopying of notes and other information
* Ensure the entrance and reception area are always pristine and welcoming and conveying the appropriate image.
* Making appointments via the computerised system
* Dealing with all telephone call queries/requests and acting as liaison with consultants as necessary
* Maintaining and encouraging adequate security measures, ensuring all clinical rooms are locked when not in use.
* Comply with all in house and statutory Health and Safety procedures
* Unlocking or locking up of surgery premises
* Full training will be provided in return of your excellent customer service & administration skills.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 6 months experience within a customer service or Administration role.
