JOB- Logistics & Engineering Technician

LOCATION- Surrey

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- GBP17,000 - GBP18,000 per annum plus benefits

My client works within engineering manufacturing and they are looking for a Logistics & Engineering Technician to join their business on a permanent basis in the Surrey area.

The Logistics Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• Have experience working in a similar varied Engineering/ Stores/ Logistics type role in a similar manufacturing environment
• Have an organised approach to work
• Be able to work well as well as part of a team
• Good computer literacy
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude

The Logistics Technician role will involve:

• Supporting the companies logistics and engineering functions
• Liaising with other departments and supporting the general engineering function
• Having a good awareness for quality
• Supporting Engineers with regards to design and build of test equipment
• Processing, packing and dispatching products
• Ensuring that dispatch dates are met
• Being involved in small volume assembly within production
• Carrying out component level rework on products
• Inspecting and storing products in Goods-In
• Being involved in quality checks in Final Inspection
• Always complying with Health & Safety policies
