Private Client Solicitor

Due to expansion we are recruiting for a Private Client Solicitor for a reputable Legal 500 regional firm based in Oxford. The successful applicant will be at the forefront, working alongside a Partner, dealing with a high quality, high net worth caseload.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a Private Client department currently flourishing with plans to continue to grow in line with increased workflow. It is a vibrant and close knit team.

As a Private Client Solicitor with experience in Wills and Probate law your work and caseload will cover a wide variety of areas.

This will include but is not limited to dealing with a full range of Wills, Probates, Trusts, Tax and Estate Planning Administration of Estates.

Giving advice on duties to executors and rights to beneficiaries, providing practical guidance to all Clients, preparing applications and lodging required forms.

To relate to Clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of Client care.

Handling your own caseload, you will support the head of department in acting as a mentor by providing guidance to both trainees and support staff.

*There is the opportunity to work 4 days from home, depending on the candidate*

What's needed to be considered?

• Be qualified with a minimum of 2 years plus PQE experience in the field of Private Client work (Solicitor or CILEX).
• Have essential experience in drafting and dealing with Wills, LPAs and the administration of straightforward estates with minimum supervision
• Working towards STEP an advantage but not a necessity
• Be conscious of the need to build relationships to develop the Private Client Department
