Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of The Behaviour Support Service and we are looking to appoint a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a sporting background who is ready to meet the challenge of working with students with complex needs. Excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team are required.
The post holder will deliver PE to small groups under the guidance of teaching staff and act as a support for curriculum subjects within the service.
The centre caters for students across KS3 and 4.

Requirements
To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant you will:
Be versatile, flexible, confident and have the ability to tailor your teaching/support style to engage students with a wide range of special educational needs.
Have a background in Sport or Sport Coaching and be willing to deliver sessions to young people that can struggle to regulate their own emotions
Have a positive, flexible and upbeat mentality and a genuine interest in pursuing a career working with individuals who have special educational needs.
Be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8.30-4.30.
