ALTIDO is a customer service-focused hospitality operator specialising in urban short-term rentals and hotel management. Our guests and clients alike benefit from a hands-on, personal experience with 24/7 support and concierge service.
We are looking for a talented, reliable housekeeping supervisor who understands the core tenets of customer service and hospitality to supervise domestic households with high standards of cleanliness. You will be provided with a weekly cleaning supervision schedule with special instructions that involves multiple cleanings a day at properties mainly located within Edinburgh city centre.
This role goes beyond excellent standards of housekeeping; you will also be responsible for reporting any property issues to the HQ team and your accuracy and timeliness in doing this will be measured at the same level as your cleaning standards. In addition to this, you may be welcoming our guests where necessary. You will be a key part of a close-knit team and will be provided with all the equipment and training to excel in your role.
The role includes:

Supervising and reporting cleans, and escalating maintenance related issues
*
Being the first Housekeeping Supervisor, you have plenty of opportunities to build the team alongside with our housekeeping manager, implementing processes
*
Training new housekeepers
*
Ensuring the property is up to scratch prior to guest or owners arrival
*
Working closely with Housekeeping / Scheduling manager on administrative work relating to housekeeping such as SOPs, reports, updating owner cleaning instructions
*
Accountable for ALTIDO Scotland monthly cleaning score from the guest reviews with a Key Performance Index (KPI) of a target 4.5 / 5
*
Reporting issues / damages found at the property
*
Replenishing welcome packs for guests
*
Conducting quarterly Housekeeping meeting with housekeepers in collaboration with Housekeeping Manager
*
Attending new high risk properties with a member of the operations or onboarding team to onboard the property from a housekeeping perspective.
*
Touching up properties where applicable if not to standards
REQUIREMENTS
*
Major advantages for those who have prior 4-5 star hotel (or short term rental background) housekeeping supervisor for at least 3 years of experience
*
Must speak English, additional languages welcome as a bonus
*
An organised individual who seeks for an eagle eye for detail
*
Passionate about hospitality
HOURS
*
Generally Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm, with weekends as an option for over time.
*
We can guarantee minimum 30 hours a week over 5 days
COMPENSATION
*
GBP12 to GBP13/hr (depending on experience) invoiceable to us, payable every 2 weeks.
