We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

The role is a senior client-facing role requiring the ability to develop client relationships and to lead Construction Scope of projects from client briefing through proposal preparation, setting construction execution strategy and supporting set up and delivery. The position can be based in either Cork or Dublin.

  • Overall responsibility for the development and management of the Construction Service business delivered by the Irish Business Units.
  • Work closely with the PM Group Irish Management to grow, enhance and continually develop the overall service delivery.
  • Ensure that the Construction Service delivery complies fully with PM Group systems and procedures.
  • Support new Business Development, client facing and as proposal manager for all Irish CM proposals (to a pre agreed scale) and manage the CM inputs to multiservice proposals.
  • Management of project Construction Services personnel including recruitment, liaison, onboarding, coordination, training, development and mentoring.
  • Flexibility to step in and lead construction projects on site as required.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of Construction Health & Safety, Construction QAQC, Constructability, Contracts/Commercial and Project Controls.
  • Work closely with Group Construction Services to enhance and develop the overall service delivery.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Demonstrated capability and leadership in Construction delivery within specialized industrial sectors. (Life Sciences, Food & Mission Critical)
  • Professional Qualification in Engineering or Construction /Project Management.
  • 10+ year's professional experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of H&S statutory requirements.
  • Good understanding of contractual models and supply chain capability.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at management and operation level.
  • Proven Construction Business management track record.
