Their talented and approachable team offers legal advice on all aspects of conveyancing, family law, wills, probate and power of attorney. As a progressive firm, they embrace advancements in technology, ensuring their ability to provide a better service to their customers. For example, with online case tracking and text updates, you can monitor the progress of your conveyancing matters 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Their clients are at the heart of their business and they make sure they are contactable when you need them. As a result, much of their work comes through recommendations. Over the years they have built close working relationships with both large organisations and individual clients who are only too happy to recommend them.

Due to their business growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor for their Chigwell flagship office.

This role involves dealing with all types of residential conveyancing which includes; Sales, Purchases, Re-mortgages, Stair-casing, Redeeming help to buy loans, transfer of equity, deed of trust and severance of joint tenancy.

Key Responsibilities

meet and interview clients to establish the firm's suitability to provide the necessary advice and services, based on the firm's specialism and likely cost
take a client's instructions
advise a client on the law and legal issues relating to their case
draft documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client's individual needs
research and analyse documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure
coordinate the work of all parties involved
correspond with clients and opposing solicitors
Work in a team
Supervise and delegate work to trainee solicitors, paralegals and legal secretaries as appropriate
arrange and attend further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
check all documentation prior to signing and implementing
carry out administrative duties
my work is fixed fee and billing clients for work done on their behalf
keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports
Qualifications & Experience

Diplomas - LLB (Hons)
Good standard of A-Level
Solicitor Experience
Practical experience of dealing with customers face to face and on the phone

Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks
Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
Excellent attention to detail to ensure information is accurate and complete
Ensuring high level client care
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
The salary for this role is GBP30k-GBP40 dependant upon PQE and you will be working Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm
