What you will be doing
You will join the team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Whether you have been a Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week because of you.

Location: 20 Woodland Avenue, Wolstanton, Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5 8AZ
The Woodlands is a specialist community based home for 6 men living with a learning disability and/or autism. Clients may also have unstable epilepsy, profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems. We also support people with genetic disorders such as Prader Willi and other conditions or syndromes based on individual needs.
We welcome clients who are currently living in the community, such as the family home or supported living but require more structured care and support, as well as those who are transitioning out of residential schools and require ongoing care and support
