Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Banbury, Oxford
3 Shift Pattern
GBP40,000 - 45,000 + Overtime at premium rates + 31 Holiday + development plan + Benefits
My client, a reputable food manufacturer, based in Banbury, is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The company have continued to progress in recent times, demonstrating a strong order book.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years experience, working in any fast moving manufacturing environment, e.g; food, packaging, consumables, anything that is mass produced, as a maintenance technician.
You should be a mechanically biased engineer comfortable with additional electrical fault finding or vise verse
With fault finding, repairing, replacing components, stripping down/rebuilding on a range of components taking up the bulk of your daily duties. Ideally, you will be trained to level 3 in a mechanical discipline or Electrical discipline.
Working as part of the shift engineering team, your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient running of all production and process machinery on site, this includes: reactive maintenance- attending to breakdowns, fault finding and repairing on a range of production/process machinery, planned maintenance- starting up of machinery, servicing, replacing of components periodically, project work- upgrades, modifications and supporting installation of new machinery.
