The Highbourne Group is looking for a Customer Rebates Assistant to join their Customer Rebates team on a 6 month FTC basis. The role will be based in the newly refurbished office in Crick, in conjunction with the company's recently established hybrid ways of working policy.


The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated and high performing team, supporting a Division which has seen outstanding results in the past year.


You will be supporting the team with the day to day administrative responsibilities of Customer Rebates; assisting the Sales team with reports, processing payments and completing reconciliations. Joining the team means you will be one of the go people for the Sales Area Managers who own and manage regional accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading new agreed deals on an accurate & timely basis

  • Administration of payments to customer via credit note or cheque, including managing the authorisation process of rebate payments in line with agreed SLAs

  • Delivery of Customer Sales Reporting so that Customers can monitor their progress towards their rebate discount

  • Accrual reporting to the Sales Team so that they can confirm the accuracy of the accruals by Customer

  • Liaising with the business facing Finance team to ensure the accounts for the Division reflect an appropriate charge in the P&L for customer discount and the appropriate accrual is recorded for future payments

  • Supporting with the overall delivery of a new Customer Rebates reporting tool

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to accurately follow departmental procedures through to completion.

  • Ability to work as both part of a team, across functions and on your own.

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Flexible attitude and the ability to review current practices with the target of improving the department to achieve modern best practices.
