Individual Giving Manager

Prospectus are delighted to be exclusively supporting a national charity in their search for a full-time Individual Giving Manager.

A unique organisation, they are the only national charity supporting seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 through uplifting and unforgettable Special Day services, both in person and virtually. Their service enables young people and their families to reconnect and refocus on each other while enjoying an activity of their choosing, creating memories they will all treasure forever.

As the Individual Giving Manager you will lead the development of the individual giving fundraising strategy, focusing both on donor retention and recruitment to ensure sustainable income growth. This is an opportunity to have autonomy in developing and delivering an existing individual giving programme including appeals, raffles, lottery, in memory, merchandise and one-off donations. With a range of exciting projects to use, you will also be leading on the regular giving programme which currently has around 200 regular donors.

To be successful as the Individual Giving Manager you will have proven experience in direct marketing within a charity setting and be confident in leading donor retention, recruitment and development strategy. You will have experience of setting and managing campaign and annual budgets, and comfortable working towards six figure income targets. With excellent writing and communication skills, you will be able to create engaging copy for different audiences across a range of communication channels.

This role is a permanent full-time and will be based 2 days a week in their Welwyn Garden offices. The role offers a salary of GBP35,000.
