YHA Borrowdale, Longthwaite, Keswick CA12 5XE are currently looking to enhance the team for over winter with the potential of extending contracts after this time into the new 2022 season. We are looking for 2 more team members to start asap and work till 1st April 2022. GBP8.91ph. These posts do not currently offer accommodation.

Our team member role requires flexibility to cover different shifts and tasks. It is an advantage but not essential that our team members have worked in a face to face role with customers previously and experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable.
A knowledge and understanding of the core purpose of YHA and experience of working in a team are beneficial.
As our team member role duties vary it is advantageous to be a good communicator, excellent timekeeper and have some basic skills in the use of IT. A food safety qualification is desirable but not essential.
What you'll be doing:
Our team members cover a wide range of customer facing duties across the hostel, delivering an excellent service to all guests and visitors, giving them a great experience of YHA.
Your day may range from:
working on reception, providing information on the hostel and local area
carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties
preparing food in the kitchen
serving food and drinks front of house
It's important to note that the role can be physically demanding; you'll be standing for extended periods of time, required to make bunk beds and clean guest accommodation to a high standard.
