Senior Engineer / Electrician
Salary: GBP35,000-GBP42,000
Department: Solar and EV Installation and Maintenance
Main Location: Burton upon Trent
Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Responsible to: Head of Operations & Installation Manager
Working Environment: ?? Office based ?? Site based
Job Purpose:
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and engineers requiring repairs/maintenance & Installation to their Electrical Vehicle Charger, Solar Photovoltaic system & Energy Storage Solution.
Essential:
NVQ L3 Electrician, 18th Edition
3+ Years' experience in a range of electrical environments
Solar and/or EV experience
Main Responsibilities:
Arrange Project EV Manager, Project Managers and Maintenance Engineers workloads.
Organise repairs and maintenance.
Deal with emergency situations as they arise on a day-to-day basis and ensure prompt and effective resolution of problems
Deal with queries from customers and engineers
Provide phone-based and email support technical guidance/support to customers, assistance diagnosing and resolving faults etc.
Attend training as and when required.
Demonstrate commitment to Company policies and act in accordance with Company procedures as directed
?? In addition, you are required to comply with any other reasonable request made of you by management, in line with job role, skills and experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Desired:
?? Technical support experience
?? Customer service experience
?? NVQ L3 Qualified Electrician
?? Hard-working, tenacious, and committed
?? Excellent time management and organisation skills
?? Polite and professional approach
?? Good verbal and written communication skills
?? IT literate (Inc. Microsoft Office programmes, CRM + more)
