The Leonardo Cyber Security Division is a pivotal innovator, helping customers deliver and secure their digital transformation. The Cyber Division is at the forefront of supplying technology and services for both civil and defence markets, in both the UK and around the world, to enhance the capabilities of its Customers.
Leonardo's Cyber Consulting practice provides a broad range of independent advice and specialist technical services to identify, manage and mitigate the risk associated with systems and capabilities. We are looking for a Consultant to work from our Yeovil site and support the implementation of Cyber Resilience and Cyber Security into systems and services. This role will work closely with the Leonardo Helicopters Division on some cutting edge capability programmes, but also be part of our Bristol based Consultancy Practice.
You will work in a diverse, challenging environment, leading the delivery of projects to customers and supporting internal activities such as thought leadership and sales activity.

Key Responsibility Areas
Provision of advice and consultancy services to customers and projects
Conduct risk assessments against concepts and designs, and support the development of appropriate security architectures and controls to manage risks effectively
Support the development of Cyber Products, working with sales and engineering teams
Assist and lead the formulation and coordination of bids and proposals.
You will be able to manage resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out Cyber Security activities to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards.
Monitor and reports on the progress of development projects, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures.
Stakeholder engagement including customers, programme managers, business leaders, developers and implementers, safety, security and other subject matter experts.
Develop concepts, review, elicit and derive requirements.Skills, Qualification & Knowledge Required
Skills and experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Consultancy skills - building customer relations; flexibility in working hours and locations; adaptability to changing schedules; reliability and quality of task delivery; team player.
Good and demonstrable understanding of Cyber Risk management
Broad and deep ICT cyber security technical knowledge across both Enterprise and Operational Technologies
Cyber Security professional certifications strongly preferred - one or more of CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, COMPTIA Sec+ and CCP SIRA)
Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and drive success.
Diplomatic with strong written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of physical, personnel, procedural and technical security controls and how to apply them
Ability to interpret and advise on current HMG, NCSC and MOD Security policy and guidance.
Security Cleared (SC) and with willingness and ability to obtain DV
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting CAA or MAA certification including security aspects of airworthiness
