SEO Writer

It is a really exciting time to join the Reach family. Due to our sustained growth and our ambitious future growth plans, we are now looking for an experienced SEO Writer to join us as part of our network of Live brands, covering Birmingham.

Our SEO Writers are responsible for ensuring our titles are reaching as many people as possible, who are using search engines to find answers which we can legitimately provide for them. This role will provide content which meets their search needs, and also makes readers want to return and spend more time with us.

This role will require you to work from our Birmingham office up to two days per week and the other part of the week you will be home based but will need to live on patch.

Role Duties

Use search tools to research and understand the topics which people are searching forIdentify topics which local brands can legitimately become an authority inProduce content which meets search needs and which will also give readers what they wantProvide advice, when asked on optimising other local content for searchBuild communities online and in real life to share stories with once published, and engaged with readers about those storiesEnsure every piece of content is thoroughly researched and balanced prior to publication, in accordance with the Editor's Code of practiceAct up or cover in other roles as and when required by the businessUphold Reach's policy around diversity and inclusion and work to ensure our values around non discrimination are upheld in everything we publish.
