As our UX/UI Designer, you will design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. You will make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
Responsibilities as our UX/UI Designer will include:
Being a great team player with the capacity to rapidly ideate and iterate on designs and concepts
Collaborating closely with other business areas such as research and product teams
Thinking on your feet and outside the box, solution-focused, creating refreshing and interesting concepts
Creating, improving, and using wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods
Presenting and defending your design decisions, all of which should be based on the overall product roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e., colour theory, visual weight, etc.)
Maintaining a good grasp and knowledge of Design Systems. Knowledge of both App and Web UX/UI is beneficial
Working closely with the UX team, Head of Product Management and Creative Director to ensure brand guidelines and UX principals are adhered too
What we are looking for in our ideal UX/UI Designer:
Demonstrable experience and a proven track record
A strong portfolio to be presented and discussed during interview
Hands-on experience creating wireframes and prototypes
Experience using tools such as Figma, Miro, Sketch and InVision
Experience designing responsive websites, with strong understanding of technical constraints and possibilities
Experience working with Design Systems
Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD) principles, and accessibility and usability standards
Experience of creative ideation, rapid prototyping with a problem-solving mindset
Confident discussing work with stakeholders
