Maintenance Engineer
Salary: GBP36,000 - GBP40,000
OTE: GBP45,000+
Location: Chard
As one of the UKs most renowned food manufacturers, my client is currently in need of a maintenance engineer at their site in Somerset. The successful candidate should be electrically bias, but also possess strong mechanical knowledge and have previous experience working within a food manufacturing or packaging factory.
This position will require the successful candidate to perform both planned and reactive maintenance on the production line, mostly dealing with electrical faults although as previously mentioned, there is a requirement to assist with mechanical maintenance. You will be working on a rotating days only shift pattern, with each shift being 12-hours. Added with a competitive salary package and many overtime opportunities, there is also a company pension and other appealing benefits available.
The Maintenance Engineer will need for this role:
Multi-skilled, with an electrical bias
Competent mechanically
Ok with working 12-hour days
Experience working within a food or packaging facility
The Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
